Home Childcare Providers & Nanny Services

Having children is a wonderful thing, but to be able to provide food, shelter and other necessities for your children, you need to work. If you need the help of a nanny in order to make this possible, Tender Care Immigration Services Ltd. is here to help. You can hire a foreign caregiver to provide care to children, in a private residence, when Canadians and permanent residents are not available.

Tender Care Immigration Services Ltd. is very happy to assist individual families and individual employers. Our in-house Consultant (Maxima Emma Cusi) is authorized to represent employers or to give advice. She is a member with good standing of the Immigration Consultant of Canada Regulatory Council.

A home childcare provider from Tender Care Immigration Services Ltd. will assist parents to give care for the overall well-being, physical development and social development of children. Our nannies in Victoria will assist parents with child care and may also act as housekeepers. As live-in and live-out nannies, they provide care primarily in their own homes or in the children's homes, where they may also reside. They are employed by private households and childcare agencies, or they may be self-employed. Foster parents are included in this unit group.

Under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP), families can hire foreign caregivers. However, the caregivers must:

  • Provide care on a full-time basis (minimum of 30 hours per week)
  • Work in a private household where the care is being provided
  • Meet the requirements set by Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) as well as Service Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)

These families or private household employers will be able to hire foreign workers on a live-in or live out basis
